HF Antenna Deployment Attempted

On November 17th, the CatSat team sent the command to deploy the HF antenna. This followed weeks of preparation and planning and involved a carefully choreographed sequence of events conducted while the spacecraft flew over Tucson, in contact with controllers on the ground. While the team cannot yet confirm the deployment, reaching this milestone is an incredible accomplishment for the team. Confirmation is expected in the next few weeks.
