CatSat will activate its X-Band system and transmit a DVBS-2 modulated data stream centered at 10.47 GHz. The modulation will be Quadrature Phase Shift-Key (QPSK) with a 3/5 data to error correction fraction.
The event is scheduled as a pass over a surface point located at Maidenhead grid DM42oc. Transmission will begin at 2025-12-04 02:54 UTC and run for 10 minutes.
The spacecraft will rotate to track a ground station on the surface.
This event is scheduled as a backup for the downlink on December 3rd, and may not be used.
