CatSat will activate its X-Band system and transmit a DVBS-2 modulated data stream centered at 10.47 GHz. The modulation will be Quadrature Phase Shift-Key (QPSK) with a 3/5 data to error correction fraction.
The event is scheduled as a pass over a surface point located at Maidenhead grid DM42oc. Transmission will begin when the spacecraft ascends above 5 degrees and will end when the spacecraft crosses below 5 degrees.
The spacecraft will rotate to track a ground station on the surface.
